Tables:
Cyborgirl, Pangaea, Space Journey, Toy Factory

Multi-table follow-up to Pinball Pack 2 with four new themes. Scrolling 2D full-screen planview. 3- and 5-ball play, upward nudge (shared with plunger), fixed keys, top three scores are recorded. Options for table angle, fast/slow PC and sound volume. Same not-quite-realistic ball physics and usual crude ball movement and flipper handling. Slingshots and bumpers are too hard and powerful and with the scrolling and short tables often give you little time to react. Dated and less innovative than Pinball Pack 2 like they just wanted throw in some tables for good measure. Especially Space Journey and Toy Factory have filler appeal with their crowded artwork. Cyborgirl is the exception and seems to be more carefully designed and plays better than the others, similar to Android in Pack 1. Pangaea is a dinosaur theme which relies heavily on ramps. Improved sound system (16-bit) with thematic and moody soundtracks. Due to this "engine redesign" the tables don't integrate with the previous two packs (however, the previous two have been upgraded to the new standards in 1995 and all three packs now integrate). Cyborgirl I recently spotted as a freebie at Blockbuster Video. All pinball packs mess with your DOS clock which you might want to reset after playing. The tables still have value for light entertainment and run on low-end PCs.
